SHELTON, William E. "Billy Packer" 60, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017, in his home with his wife by his side. He was born on October 3, 1956, in Springfield the son of the late Wilbert F. and Katherine L. (Whalen) Shelton. Billy was a very loving person. He truly enjoyed people and is described by his family as a kindest and gentle person. Billy was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and loved to do yard work. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Vickie C. Shelton of Springfield, daughters: Stacie N. Shelton and Jamie D. Conley; one son, Kelly D. Estep and his wife Jennifer, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister, Kaye Bigus and her husband George, two nieces and one nephew. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Shelton. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 5-8:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferncliff Cemetery. "Billy Packer" is going to be truly missed by his family and friends. He was loved by everyone. I was so sadden to see Bill has passed. He was also a neighbor friend and classmate. I'm sure his family is missing him. RIP Bill
